Dear God,

If committing my service to you by fulfilling my duties as a student, occupying my time with fruitful revision and study means that I have little time to spend with the people I love and the friends I cherish, then I regretfully say I would have taken a different path to the polytechnic two years ago if i had the chance to turn back time. But since I am here and it would do no justice to talk about things that will never happen, I pray to you dear God, to grant me strength in body and in mind, for me to brave this journey to success, for me to fulfill my duties to you as a student and as your servant. But dearest God, above them all, I pray to you, to keep safe my friends, keep them in my memory and my prayers, and let them know, let all the world know, that apart from you dear God any my parents, there are no other people on this earth I would love more than them. Give me time, give me this 12 weeks to get down to business and mug my heart out, and help me through this. Cus nothing else matters when I have nothing to lose, and You to gain. Ameen.
